My DVR died!!!!!!!
This was my first customer service experience with Dish Network. I gave them my error and then about 30 seconds later they said a new DVR was on its way. Good luck getting that service from a cable company.
Started biking to work today. Its around 6 or 7 miles and takes around 30 to 40 minutes.

Netflix is going Blu-Ray only, which looks like the end of the road for HD-DVD. Hopefully we can get one standard HD format.
Google has posted their position on Microsoft’s bid for Yahoo.
I sure as hell hope Microsoft does not end up buying Yahoo because, like everything else Microsoft buys, they end making things worse, not better. If the deal goes through, goodbye Flickr.
Been busy with class and spending most of my spare time reading photography related stuff
That’s right, heading back to school, but just for one class right now. Taking a GIS class at one of the community colleges. Interesting so far.
I have started up my photoblog Eclectic Defined again now that I have my XTi. I will still be posting most of my photos on Flickr, but some of the more interesting ones will go on the photoblog.
We took the dogs up to Donner Lake today. Darwin, not so much a fan of the snow. Maya on the other hand, had a good time
