This movie absolutely rocked. Transformers was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid and this movie had so much potential to suck. However, this movie did everything right. The special effects are the best yet. Just a great summer movie. I will update this review after I think about it a bit more…
Update
This is your typical summer: low on story, big on action. Transformers is surprisingly humorous. Where the movie is really good, as it should be, is with the Transformers. They look fantastic and when the autobots and decepticons fight you see all the action. The computer graphics are really, really good. It probably helped seeing film on a DLP projection. The overall story is a little weak, but the film is setup perfectly for a sequel. Can’t wait for this to come out on DVD.
