We were fortunate to get a nice LCD HDTV for Xmas, but we just got satellite service (have had it for a week now).

The over the air digital broadcasts, with some shows broadcasting in HD, are nice, but don’t match up with some networks like Discovery HD or even the Food Network HD.

We went with Dish Network over DirecTV because of the Dish DVR, which is great.

After watching some shows in HD, you want everything in HD
